Sound working knowledge of basic D.C. electricity, basic A.C. electricity, SCR, transistor and microprocessor-based motor controls, wire guidance, internal combustion and diesel engines.

Must be able to communicate by telephone, in writing, and in person.
Must be a team player, i.e., to work with peers.
Sound working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Sound mechanical abilities.
Able to organize efficiently.
Must maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance.
Able to work in conjunction with other departments as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years breakdown experience or comparable service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
