Our client is developing monolithic, digitally-controlled capacitor-arrays for high performance antenna tuners, dynamic impedance matching networks, broadband programmable filters, and other RF tuning applications. The capacitors are built using MEMS technology combined into a CMOS or SOI process flow. The RF Test Development Manager will manage WiSpry’s internal characterization and reliability test laboratory with responsibilities for laboratory budget, RF bench, wafer probe, reliability hardware selection and maintenance, and PCB design and manufacturing.

 Hands-on management of Company's RF and DC bench test, wafer probe, and MEMS test capability through equipment budgeting, selection, purchasing, and maintenance.
 Management of Company's in-house hardware and software support for qualification and ongoing reliability assessments.
 Selection of external reliability qualification service providers and management of those suppliers in support of reliability qualification.
 Leadership of in-house PCB design activities and selection and management of external PCB fabrication and assembly services.
 Collaboration with Company’s engineering teams to define test methodology roadmaps in support of the best tunable MEMS products that meet RF performance and reliability requirements.
 Collaboration with internal manufacturing and quality teams to enable internal test, qualification, and ongoing reliability monitoring.
 Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
 Expertise in RF measurement and characterization techniques, including S-parameters, noise figure, load pull, Q, harmonics, and intermodulation, distortion, and noise.
 Understanding of mmWave requirements.
 Expert understanding of RF test equipment such as a Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Generator, Power Meter and Oscilloscope.
 Familiar with RF test equipment landscape and established relationships with the key suppliers.
 Hands-on experience with RF device characterization and semiconductor device reliability testing.
 Hands-on experience with PCB design techniques and tools.
 Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with custom socket fabrication, probe card, PCB fabrication, PCB assembly, and reliability and FA service suppliers.
 An understanding of semiconductor CMOS and MEMS fabrication and electronic packaging technology.
 Familiar with in-line manufacturing, bench, and ATE electrical test data analysis.

 A Bachelors or MS degree in Electrical Engineering plus a minimum of 10 years of semiconductor device testing experience
 At least 10 years of experience with RF device testing.
 At least 5 years of experience in test equipment management role
 Experience in cellular RF front-end component development and RF measurements are a plus.

 Provide direction to Company characterization lab staff.
