  • Perform the derivation of system requirements to satisfy stakeholder requirements, and support multi-disciplined team (software/firmware/hardware) in developing implementation requirements.
  • Perform System Architecture and Design Synthesis from Requirements Analysis artifacts.
  • Lead program milestone design reviews (e.g. Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), etc;) to include slide preparation, attendance and presentation.
  • Conduct/Support verification and validation to include systems and security testing.
  • Support the creation of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to include:
    • System/Subsystem Specification (SSS)
    • Software/Hardware Requirements Specification (SHRS)
    • Interface Requirements Specification 
    • Interface Design Document (IDD)
    • Interface Control Document (ICD)
    • Key and Certificate Management Architecture/Plan (KCMA/KCMP)
    • Security Evaluation Document (SED)
    • System Test Plans
      • Security Verification Plans/Procedures (SVPP)
      • User Manuals
      • Conduct/Support test coordination and oversight for testing activities.
      • Support system training and upgrades with customers.
      • Support Business Development activities to identify and acquire new work opportunities.
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems\Computer Engineering (or other related engineering) and five or more years applicable experience or more than ten years of work experience in applicable systems development
  • Possess one or more of the following:
  • At least 3 years recent experience performing Systems Engineering and Test on commercial systems including computers, servers, networks, and ancillary equipment such as GPS, I/O, PDUs, UPS, etc.
    • Requirements Analysis experience;
    • System Architecture definition and synthesis experience;
    • Validation/Verification Plan and Procedure development experience;
  • Expert in Systems Engineering process (ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong configuration management and documentation experience
  • Ability to interact with customer and customer representatives
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to lead complex technical tasks on a multi-discipline team
  • Willing to lead and perform as a self-starter
  • Willingness to travel to Alaska 3-4 times per year 
  • Experience with Tactical Data Links, including Link-16, MIDS-LVT, MIDS-JITRS; a definite plus.
  • Network Certifications a definite plus
  • PMP a plus
  • Experience in Security Design/Information Assurance
  • Experience with NSA Type 1 Certification process
  • Experience with DoD Cryptographic products and/or development
  • Strong experience/understanding of Requirements Management tools (e.g., DOORS, Visure)
