General Summary

Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager the Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Quality team members in their day-to-day execution and adherence to the Quality Management Systems of the Client.
  • Supports the Quality Assurance department to maintain high standards of quality by assisting with document management and program development
  • Develops, implement, and manages ISO related Inspection Procedures
  • Trains and Audits Inspection and Qualified Operators on ISO Quality Assurance Procedures
  • Generates, analyzes and reports Receiving Inspection results and Supplier Procedures
  • Verifies and maintains accurate receiving, source, and tool inspection records
  • Mentors mechanical inspectors on various techniques required to verify deliverables
  • Evaluates new equipment and technology, set-up techniques, cost reduction, sampling plan and standardizing inspection recurring programs
  • Monitors, records, and verifies Quality related documents
  • Understands and identifies non-conforming raw materials, semi-finished and finished products
  • Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products
  • Provides engineering with input on inspection methodology relative to mechanical and digital inspection techniques
  • Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging task, applying progressive disciplinary action as appropriate and conducting formal written and verbal performance reviews.
  • Interprets and executes policies
  • Maintains personnel records (e.g., work schedules, vacation schedules, leave of absences) and makes or directs modifications in the database to reflect actual changes
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies in a fast paced aerospace production environment
  • Clear understanding of Quality Assurance specifically Inspections (First Article, Multi-Pan, MRB Reviews)
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with 5- 10 years of experience; or 15 years related experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Inspection
  • Experience working in an Composite Fabrication Manufacturing Environment
