Responsibilities
 
  • Develop a culture of quality across the entire organization through collaborating and training
  • Managing the day to day execution of the Quality teams
  • Ensuring all products are produced to specifications
  • Manage the quality function to ensure highly disciplined compliance with all product and process quality parameters and standards
  • Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
  • Interprets quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization
  • Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
  • Interprets quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization
  • Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.

  • Oversee the inspection and quality planning processes
  • Assists in the measurement of operational performance and training needs
  • Responsible for Regulatory Agency certification and periodic audits
  • Reviews and monitors Government and Customer Quality system requirements to assure procedures are adequate and in compliance
  • Analyzes internal and external Quality data and initiates effective corrective actions to reduce and eliminate adverse trends
  • Manages periodic Quality Management Reviews
  • Provides Quality technical support to all process owners
  • Ensures timely responses to all Quality activities and issues to meet scheduled needs of both internal and external customers
 
Basic Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering or related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Quality Management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO, FAA, NADCAP Processes, Military Contracts, Variation Management, and Delegated Inspection Programs is preferred.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited University in Business, Business Analytics, Engineering, Program Management
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
  • Experience working in an Composite Fabrication Manufacturing Environment
