General Summary

The Program Manager will report directly to the site General Manager and provides strategic leadership throughout the program life cycle. This position is directly responsible for interface approach with customers, prepares and maintains detailed program milestones, works with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are met to achieve sales and profit goals.


  • The position has the responsibility for the financial performance of the programs.
  • Responsible for execution of program contractual requirements to meet customer quality, cost and schedule requirements and achieve internal financial objectives.
  • Provides leadership to coordinate multi-departmental presentations for Program Management Reviews with customers.
  • Identifies opportunities and leads continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, variability, cycle times and overall cost structure.
  • Develops, implements and controls program and product line budgets and schedule
  • Oversees customer interface in all facets of; technical, quality, delivery, cost and business development
  • Contributes to the achievement of ACF objectives through strategic planning
  • Regularly advises Management members on business plan status, customer inputs and internal management of programs
  • Assigns responsibilities and accountabilities for the Program by directing cross functional Integrated Product Teams (IPT s); makes individual program assignments: establishes priorities and efficiently allocates resources amongst competing program demands.

  • BS Degree + Aerospace + Composite Manufacturing Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with 5- 10 years of experience; or 15 years related experience of Program Management
  • Proven success in organizing, leading and directing complex programs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies in a fast paced aerospace production environment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial, technical and legal documents
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of company personnel, suppliers and customers
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Master s Degree from an accredited University in Program Management
  • Experience with composites


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of management and employees.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
