The Plant Engineer Level “II” is responsible for the areas of engineering, electrical engineering, installation and operation of plant facilities, machinery and systems, plant layout, and a preventive, reliability focused maintenance systems. 
Major Job Duties:
As a key member of our Client your duties include but are not limited to:  
  • Knowledge, awareness and collaboration of the our Clients Safety Policy.           
  • Knowledge and awareness of our Clients Quality Policy and how it relates to your department.
In addition to maintaining all work responsibilities of a Plant Engineer Level I further responsibilities include:
  • Manage multiple medium to large sized projects starting from feasibility studies to project implementation and reporting to senior Plant Engineering staff
  • Responsible for planning and executing medium to large Capital Expenditure Projects, staying within budget and schedule
  • Provide plant engineering recommendations to maintenance operations
  • Provide recommendations for planning and implementation of facility processes
  • Prepare technical investigative reports to middle management
  • Train, coach and oversee the activities of Plant Engineer Level I
  • Take a supportive role to ensure compliance in all environmental, safety and facility security
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts for facilities maintenance work
  • Assist with the implementation of annual shutdowns for facilities maintenance purposes which may include working during weekends and holidays
  • Responsible for participating in team related activities as well as ISO Auditing as requested
  • Perform related duties as designated by the Plant Engineering manager
  • Work in a team environment and meet target dates, report to work on time, with the proper PPE, and be fully engaged for the entire shift
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to comply with ITAR and EAR residency requirements
  • Meet all requirements of Plant Engineer I
  • Demonstrate multi-tasking capabilities                                                                  
  • Possess knowledge of
    • Predictive and preventative maintenance
    • Environmental rules and regulations
    • Electrical systems
    • Hydraulic systems
  • Computer drawing skills (CAD is a must)
  • Computer (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong project management
  • PLC programing

  • BS in engineering or related engineering field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering or Plant Engineering in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent)
Required Certifications: HAZWOPER 24, HAZWOPER 8, and OSHA 10
