  Summary: The position is responsible for identifying, recommending, and coordinating the implementation of process enhancements and quality related improvements. The Manufacturing Technician/Quality Specialist will utilize problem solving, quality auditing and process methodology skills to achieve specific process improvements throughout the manufacturing organization. This position is responsible for providing, organizing and coordinating technical support regarding process improvements and quality auditing during all phases of newly initiated projects, as well as for existing production processes.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Analyzing, recommending and documenting improvements in the manufacturing process and supporting sub-processes. Create process standards and work instructions and share best practices across the organization. Design and introduce process improvement methodology and statistical tools applied to process measurement, and process improvement Identify root-causes using process improvement tools. Demonstrates understanding and application of process improvement methodology and statistical tools Ability to navigate and influence a cross-functional organization; ability to lead/manage initiatives within the organization Consistently demonstrate the ability to act independently, prioritize and influence others on a regular basis Understanding of Lean or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Strong influencing skills (without authority), with ability to use fact-based and well-thought-out arguments to challenge all levels or change behavior/techniques as needed Ability to collect, analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data. Demonstrated analytical, root cause analysis, problem solving, and decision-making skills Solid oral and written communication capabilities with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to work with other Quality Team to improve processes. Ability to do Process Audits Assist PPAP Coordinator when needed to measure parts.    
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience:
Knowledge and Understanding of ISO
Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering graduate
Some manufacturing and ISO implementation and auditing experience preferred (min. 3 years)
Desire to obtain more education/training through company sponsored programs
