The Human Resources Director will be responsible to manage and execute all HR programs and activities for the  Business Unit. The position will report to the President and be a member of the Senior Management Team while taking strategic direction from the SVP of Human Resources.

The HR Director will be responsible for managing an organization of 200+ employees in the  US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the Human Resources function to include talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, reward and recognition, health and safety, and HR compliance programs.
  • Responsible for execution of HR strategy and achievement of KPIs.
  • Support change management, organization design and development.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and driving to achieve a great place to work recognition
  • Provide coaching and development for business leaders.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements for existing and new legislation, enforce adherence and advise management to ensure company compliance.
  • Works collaboratively with HR Shared Services, COEs and HRBPs
  • Management of 3-5 direct and remote staff.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:
  • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • SPHR/PHR and/or SHRM-SCP/PC certification or other related professional certification
  • 8+ years progressive experience in a business environment with substantial management responsibilities and experience

Desired Skills:
  • Ability to travel ~10% with occasional travel to other business locations in the US and international
  • Quickly develop strong relationships and earn trust of the internal teams
  • Possess strong coaching skills with ability to coach all levels within the organization
  • Strong analytical skills with regard to HR data interpretation and presentation
  • Solid knowledge of employee engagement, change management, employment law, performance management, recruiting, compensation, benefits and wellness programs 
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills 
  • Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and HRIS systems is required, knowledge of Workday preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to work independently with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Willing to work to tight deadlines, supervise/manage multiple projects at a time, and prioritize effectively
