The Contracts Administrator's position entails aerospace contracts administration, commercial inside sales, contracts and/or order follow up, and working closely with other departments in support of OEM customers.

Responsibilities include proposal preparation and follow-up, review of customer's supplier portal for new orders, change orders and order entry, and participation in meetings in support of the customer's schedule requirements. This position interacts with Business Development, Engineering, Program Management, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing and the Executive Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:
Administers contracts and agreements in accordance with federal government regulations and company policies and procedures.
Performs proposal preparation, contract administration, and customer contact activities in accordance with company policies and procedures, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Performs Contract Reviews as required to inform internal departments and management of contractual requirements for the programs/customers for which you are responsible;
Compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information
Prepare and report weekly and monthly bookings and sales (shipments) for management.
Enter new orders and change orders into Made2Manage ERP System (review for accuracy).
Attend meetings as needed in support of new business requirements.
Provide backup support for Composite Seating Products, Mechanical Seating Products,
Space and Defense Products and Commercial Products as required.

Skills and Specifications:

Must have relevant experience in the Aerospace Industry
Made2Manage ERP System experience would be a plus.
Knowledge of the Federal acquisition process and. applicable laws and regulations including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
Able to work in fast paced, self directed environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Highly proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent time management skills.
Highly energetic and self-starter.
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.

Undergraduate degree preferred with 3+ years of experience in Ist tier and 2nd tier contracting.
Experience reading, understanding, and administering Long Term Agreements (LTA),
Able to identify customer specific requirements and flow the requirement down to appropriate departments.
