We are looking for an ALM Analyst to join us in designing an exciting new class of all-electric personal aircraft. You will be responsible for administering and improving our Polarion ALM system. You will be the super-user providing expertise, training, and ongoing support to all users.

Within 3 months you will:

    • Get to know the team
    • Get familiar with our existing Polarion projects and configuration
    • Learn from others about other business systems in place
    • Support and educate users in using the application to author system, item, software, and organizational process requirements
    • Administer and implement changes to the Polarion application based on backlog items
    • Work with product support to resolve system issues
    • Participate in ongoing customization projects and learn high level details for integration plans with our PLM system Teamcenter

Within 6 months you will:

    • Continue learning about our business processes and data transfer between systems
    • Consult with user groups to understand challenges they face, propose and implement solutions, and participate in maturity reviews with user groups
    • Take ownership of managing Polarion system requirements and test cases
    • Participate in model-based reliability and safety analysis implementation projects

Within 12 months you will:

    • Reach high level of familiarity with business systems architecture
    • Contribute to improvements in the design of cross-system business processes

Required:

    • At least 5 years of experience administering Polarion in the following areas: work item and document configuration, workflows, test case and results management, portals, queries, reports and macros, resource traceability and repository parsers, and JIRA connector
    • Knowledge of systems engineering and embedded software business processes
    • Proficiency in JavaScript and Java development
    • Proficiency in subversion and git
    • Experience working with agile software development methodology
    • Experience providing end user support and training

Desired:

    • Experience administering Polarion in the following areas: variant management, plan management, OSLC
    • Experience with data management in the context of multiple engineering/ business systems
    • Experience with model-based approaches for systems engineering, software development, and reliability/safety analysis
    • Experience with product lifecycle management systems
    • Proficiency in Python development
