Under general supervision and following established policies, the Analyst performs professional assignments requiring general use and application of concepts, practices, and techniques.
Assists in implementation of configuration management requirements, including identification, control and status accounting. Assists in preparation of accurate and concise engineering documentation and proposals for assigned projects. Ensures that changes have been verified for accuracy, consistency and interchangeability Provides audit support for various functional areas to ensure compliance with configuration management practices. May have configuration management responsibilities for small programs of limited complexity. May assign work and provide guidance to less senior Configuration Analysts.
Education: Associates degree minimum
