The duties of the SPC Inspector include but are not limited to the following:

Minimum Requirements: Must be able to understand quality related technical information,
managing and communication skills. SPC Inspector must be able to gather process data in order to
evaluate the quality of injection molding output relative to customer requirement.

The duties of the SPC Inspector include but are not limited to the following:
*Articulate our Clients Quality Policy and Mission Statement
*Observe all safety requirements.
*Follow the policies and procedures described in the QA manual
*Interpret Engineering Drawings and Customer Specifications.
*Calibrate, use and maintain measurement tools.
*Be knowledgeable of the tools of quality control.
*Inspect, record and present accurate measurement data.
*Collect and catalog representative sample parts.
*Input data and findings into computer programs for analysis.
*Interpret process data and inform supervisor of out-of-control process.
*Inform supervisors of nonconformities in product in a timely manner.
*Identify and label quality status of parts
*Present nonconformities for review by members of the Quality Improvement team.
*File and maintain quality records and current engineering drawings
*Communicate quality status from shift to shift
*Attend training sessions.
*Contribute to customer satisfaction by preventing nonconforming parts from reaching the
customer.

Must have experience with basic measuring tools ( Micrometers, Height Gages, Etc.)
Recent experience in a the Plastic Injection Molding Industry is a plus but not manditory

Statistical process control (SPC) is a method of quality control which uses statistical methods. SPC is applied in order to monitor and control a process.
CMM experience is a plus
