Position Summary
Responsible for managing the complete life cycle of moderately-to-highly complex projects, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develops and stays within budgets, timelines, and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracks critical project achievements and milestones. Works with vendors and team to establish and achieve goals. Coordinates the activities of a cross-functional team. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in managing a significant quantity of wireless projects. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Acts as a single point of contact for project status. Maintains communication with stakeholders.
  • Manages all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintaining overall project ownership.
  • Develop detailed project plan to track progress and major milestone timelines
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes to the projects scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using internal system and techniques
  • Uses formal processes, including internal Project Management system, and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
  • Provides overall prioritization and director of work assignments, team resources, etc. Monitor and creates project deliverables.
  • Manages project status and information in the form of formal briefings, client driven systems, project update meetings, and use of current internal system
  • Coordinates with other work streams, projects, and initiatives which may impact successful completion of project.
  • Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to Department Manager.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel while having oversight of those responsibilities.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes or change orders if and where necessary.
  • Ensure all project related invoicing is done timely while adhering to company s and client s processes.
  • Approve/Reject all project related expenses
  • Facilitates project meetings.
  • Provide research and assistance to leadership in the development and design of new projects.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matter of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
  • Other duties to be added as deemed necessary.

  • Education/Certifications
  • Certificate or Degree from an accredited school or equivalent work experience
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.

    Experience/Minimum Requirements
  • Two (2) years of site acquisition and zoning experience on wireless projects.

    Other Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of rules governing work in the public right-of-way and in private property.
  • Ability to read and understand A&E drawings.
  • Ability to direct the diagnosis of work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies.
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem solving approach
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Software
