The Program Manager position is responsible for all cost, quality, and delivery issues related to development of consumer electronic and software control products. Responsibilities include ensuring customer expectations are met through daily interface with the customer, engineering, and production teams. The candidate must have experience planning complex schedules, working in a cross-functional team environment and coordinating all program team activities without the benefit of a direct line reporting staff.

Position Requirements: At a minimum, the individual must have completed and earned a Bachelor s degree in Engineering or have completed advanced courses in Program Management. The individual must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Project Manager in a consumer-oriented technical environment and have managed several consumer product development projects at one time. Knowledge of various wireless technologies as they apply to sensors and devices is preferred. Candidate must have excellent communication and written skills in English. Position will require some travel.

Understand the HVAC, Home Automation and Security markets both in the Professional Security and DIY segments and provide innovative solutions that address consumer issues
Multi-task and manage several projects at varying levels of development
Foster and maintain communication channels with the customer and engineering, marketing and manufacturing groups
Develop and maintain master schedules to deliver products on time and within budgets
Motivate project teams to achieve above average-results
Manage the development of turnkey products based on customer requirements
Work with Project Managers in Asia to coordinate contract manufacturing deliverables
Manage resource allocation for major and minor development projects to ensure timely delivery of multiple products within the same time frame
Manage, maintain and service key OEM accounts and relationships
Work closely with product marketing managers to ensure market requirements are met and supported
Manage project timelines, issues and documentation via Project Portfolio Management software (provided by Daptiv, Inc.)
