The PM shall be responsible for execution of the program lifecycle, including definition, planning, execution and closeout for programs assigned. The PM shall be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget (revenue forecasting, margin, profit & loss) of the program in accordance with customer and corporate objectives, as well as corporate policies, processes and procedures. The PM shall anticipate customer needs and successfully manage changes in project scope, schedule, budget and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
The PM has authority to ensure overall compliance with the requirements of the program's SOW, including management, engineering, manufacturing, test and quality assurance activities. The PM has responsibility for providing visibility to the clients customers on all aspects of performance covered by the SOW.

The PM defines program tasks, schedules, and associated budgets (ETC, EAC) in partnership with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to Operations, Planning, Finance and Engineering Functional Areas. The PM interfaces with the management of the functional organizations to assure adequate human and other resources are allocated to meet program cost, technical and schedule requirements as planned. The PM will proactively manage and communicate project risks and issues, as well as manage constraints/conflicts impacting program metrics. They will track program metrics, report program status, support methods to manage constraints/conflicts, identify risk areas and develop solutions to minimize risk. They will perform data analyses, as needed, in support of PMO initiatives. They will have exhibited the ability to influence others to accomplish goals and objectives.

The PM will be required to support proposal efforts, as well as maintain awareness for business development opportunities when interacting with customers. The PM will be involved in the contract review process to ensure proposal/contract consistency and to thoroughly understand the customer reqiurements. The PM will be required to support business process continuous improvement activities including WBS, ERP and other PMO improvements.

The PM shall be the direct interface with external customers and be able to develop win/win solutions between internal and external customers. The PM will display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems. The PM shall have demonstrated leadership skills and must actively engage with all levels of the organization to ensure successful program execution and task completion. The PM will be an effective multi-tasker capable of operating in a dynamic environment, will be highly organized, will be detail oriented, and is also aware of the broader organizational needs and objectives. The PM shall be an effective communicator (written and verbal) and be capable of communicating project progress frequently and effectively to staff and executive levels.

5 years Program Management Experience, using a project management methodology.
Experience with Space/Military-based solar projects and technologies is prefered.
A technical background is also prefered.
Travel may be required.

Education: Minimum of a BS or a BA degree is required.
