Seeking a Procurement Analyst to help organize, review, purchase requisitions/requests and MRP messages in support of the LauncherOne program at the new Long Beach manufacturing facility. The PA is a valuable member within Supply Chain supporting and communicating with the internal/external customer. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the overall Supply Chain Procure to Pay (P2P) process, to include but not limited to; supplier on-boarding, MRP, purchasing, materials movement, receiving, inventory and shipping.

In this role, the Procurement Analyst will support the Planning, Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing functions to include but not limited to:

a. Analyzing and inputting data/information
b. Generating and organizing information
c. Developing processes/tools
d. Generating and reporting key performance indicators

Ideal candidates will have a work history that demonstrates the ability to operate successfully in a fast paced manufacturing environment which required exceptional attention to detail, strong Interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • Analyze current requirements, systems, forms and data required to transact, and purchase materials and develop solutions to improve service levels and reduce non-value added steps.
  • Ensure Supply Chain transactions are performed in a timely accurate manner.
  • Accurately report on work load, actions and projects assigned in support of the supplier on-boarding process, MRP System and Strategic Sourcing functions by effectively reviewing, uploading, and maintaining records of all transactions performed in compliance with company requirements.
  • Verify all purchases and suppliers have the appropriate documentation.
  • Pro-actively communicate with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Ensure supplier on-time delivery and update internal customer with material on dock due dates and order status.

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience and some level of college APICS. CPM, CPIM Certifications or similar within aerospace, aviation.
    Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Good understanding of ERP/MRP demand
  • Good understanding of procurement requirement documentation
  • Strong Analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with good inter-personal skills
  • Change Agent with strong innovative ideas and execution
