  • Responsible for daily invoicing, cash application, accounts receivable activities, and conducting research on unapplied payments, overpayments, debit and credit memos
  • Ensuring efficiency and accuracy of the billing process; meeting all deadlines to ensure the billing and collections cycle times are minimized
  • Working with customers and program managers to resolve pricing and collection issues 
  • Prepare and distribute various weekly and monthly reports related to booking, sales, backlog, and cash to the leadership team
  • Responsible for credit management and credit terms
  • Participate and lead various continuous improvement projects
  • Meeting days sales outstanding (DSO) and collection targets as assigned by the leadership team
  • Building 13 week rolling cash forecasting and meeting weekly collection goals 
  • Supporting financial analyst on various GL and cost related projects
  • Responsible for month end close, revenue recognition, inter-company balancing and AR account analysis
  • Assist with special projects as may be assigned from time to time by senior leadership.
  • Experience integrating new technologies into day-to-day operations
  • Drive innovation by continually assessing work flow processes and implementing improvements that are high impact, insightful, and effectuate positive change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred or 3-5 years of accounts receivable, cost  and general accounting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
  • Experience in utilizing ERP business system
  • Analytical skills with high problem solving and process improvement orientation
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • 3 – 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment; preferably aerospace
    • Crystal Enterprise report writing
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of management and employees
    • Highly organized and detail oriented; with excellent time management skills
    Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
