Work with Integrator Product Team (IPT) leaders on their AM Development and Production plans and projects. Evaluate available alloys, AM Machines, Build envelopes and design features producibility. Support cost and technical trades.
Coordinate potential program AM activities with the AM Team (AMT).

Define development activities required to:

Mature relevant alloys and machine platforms.
Plan and coordinate the execution of builds internally and at suppliers.
Manage development activities, material evaluation and testing tasks, and Qualified Metallurgical Process (QMP) approval.
Demonstrate component producibility and processing.
Plan and coordinate execution of component MTD builds, component metallurgical and dimensional evaluation, and preparation for component function testing.
Coordinate execution of Metallurgical Verification Unit and Process Verification Unit evaluation.
Post-processing steps including cleaning, thermal processing, surface finishing, machining and inspection.

Coordinate development of component Quality Acceptance plans including inspections, process control measures, and sampling plans (as needed).
Provide input and review the Integrated Master Schedule to ensure all required AM development and production activities are incorporated into the program plan, and meet program need dates.

Skills: Candidates must have the ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment; excellent problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, organizational and strong computer knowledge is mandatory.
Education: Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in materials Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, Chemical/Materials Engineering or an appropriate Engineering discipline, and 5-10 years' experience.
